Project Description
The 591 kW solar PV system was installed on the rooftop of a public university in New Jersey on top of their recreational center. It will have an estimated annual energy production of 725,000 kWh. The project also included NJ Clean Energy Program SRECs allowing the University to be cash flow positive rather quickly.
Building a system almost 600 kW solar PV project represents a significant step towards achieving the renewable energy objectives of the university. It will not only reduce their carbon footprint but will also demonstrate their leadership in adopting sustainable energy solutions. Through this project, they aim to inspire others to embrace clean energy alternatives for a greener and more sustainable future



The Results and Details
The 591 kW solar PV project is compromised of the following:
- AlsoEnergy monitoring with a weather station
- 4 x 120 kW SolarEdge Inverters with optimizers
- Public display in the convention center lobby to display real time energy production
- 1208 490 kW Qcell PV modules
- 725k,121 kWh energy produced
